I was flipping pages of my old journal when I read an old note from a cut out paper that was inserted in between pages, I recognized the hand writing and it was mine. The note was highlighted in neon colour, why? I don’t remember. The writing in it is a quote by a Psychologist Abraham Maslow, it says “It isn’t normal to know what we want. It is a rare and difficult psychological achievement.”
Ouch, too deep for my understanding, eh? But yeah - I remember it now! I came across the quote when I was trying to figure out what I want for my future. I liked the quote and so I wrote it in a piece of paper and slipped it in my journal for later reference, I didn’t know later became silent years of pondering. So, do I know what I want now? There are two possible answers its either a YES or NO.
I spent a couple of minutes trying to squeeze my brain, searching for an authentic answer. Sadly, the minutes became hours and a sleepless night. So, today I made a decision to change the question into
“What should I do with my life from now on?” and my pondering continues.
What about you? What will you do with your life from now on?
